WELCOME TO THE FAST COMPANY LEADERSHIP CAMP
Fast Company Leadership Camp is different from any of the leadership programs or motivational talks you may have attended. While they focus primarily on building a distinct set of core skills, FC Camp will force you to reflect on your deepest assumptions and values, challenge you to look beyond the obvious and mundane. This carefully curated camp will offer experiences and knowledge to which no leader would have access.
Each camp will have limited by-invitation participants who will actively engage on several levels—in roundtables, small groups, and individual reflection.
The Camp
Learn dispute resolution and negotiation from a hostage negotiator:
One of the most essential skills is aligning diverse groups with different goals as a single unit. Understand interpersonal techniques to deal with different styles and tactics effectively.
Learn talent selection from a casting director:
They specialise in finding the stars to bring the characters to life. Apart from understanding the script’s demand, they instinctively recognize talent.
Learn design thinking from an Army officer:
How the powerful design thinking process used by armed forces can help understand customer needs. Learn insight emerging from a process for innovation that encompasses concept development, applied creativity, prototyping, and experimentation.
Learn audience connection from a standup comic:
Their ability to generate laughter does not come just from the literal words they use, but rather how they express those and connect with an audience.
The FC Camp starts with a welcome dinner and entertainment to get the group to bond with each other. Then, all participants stay over at an exciting venue to start camp the next day. The whole day would be filled with unique experiences, talks and workshops.
Participation at FC Leadership Camp is subject to a strict screening and approval process.
